The Hadids are on the move. The Bel Air mansion developed by Mohamed Hadid, father to Gigi and Bella Hadid and friend to Real Housewife Lisa Vanderpump, has been put on the market for $85 million. While Hadid developed and resides in the luxury residence, he is not its current owner. After finishing work on the mansion, Hadid sold it to international owners for $50 million back in 2010. The buyers never moved in, however, and Hadid and his partner, Shiva Safai, have since leased the property, according to the Wall Street Journal.
While * The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* puts more focus on the wives than the houses, the Hadid home has actually been featured on the series from time to time, usually as the site of luxurious parties hosted by Hadid's model daughters.
The $85 million price tag comes courtesy of listing agents Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker Previews International and Stacy Gottula of The Agency.
The luxurious pad, known as Le Belvédère, spans 40,000 square feet, with the property covering 2.2. acres, according to the listing. It has 10 bedrooms and 14 baths throughout three stories, in addition to a ballroom that seats more than 200 people, a winery with a joint dining room, and a Moroccan-themed entertainment room, among many other amenities.
For instance, if you feel like popping on a movie, there's an elaborate, opera-house–style screening room ready for the job.
Le Belvédère also has an elevator, though the carved staircase probably attracts most of the attention.
And because this is L.A., there's a pool with a breathtaking view.
In case you get chilly, the mansion is befitted with 14 fireplaces.
It's quite the palace.
