Matthew Perry is ready to let go of his one-of-a-kind Century City “Mansion in the Sky,” as the listing refers to the property. The sprawling 9,290-square-foot penthouse, which occupies the entire 40th floor of the 42-story Century building in Los Angeles and includes four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms, is currently on the market for $35 million.

Perry originally purchased the home two years ago for $20 million, which was substantially below the $26.5 million asking price at the time. The former Friends star has since spent a significant amount of time and money updating and renovating the space with the help of architect Scott Joyce and interior designer LM Pagano. The home now boasts “a stunning palette of textures and colors that are both contemporary and classic," according to the listing.

Visitors are first greeted by a wide entrance gallery where Perry's Batman memorabilia is reportedly on display. Past that is the penthouse’s cavernous entertaining spaces, including a symmetrical living room with an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. To one side of the living room is space for a pool table or second entertaining area, with a sleek, modern marble fireplace built discreetly into the wall.

The high-end kitchen is decked out in white wood cabinetry and a white marble-topped center island, and there's also an informal dining area and family room nearby. Elsewhere in the home is the master suite, which features an entire semicircle of floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the city, plus a seating area with its own fireplace, two bathrooms, and walk-in closets. The other three bedrooms are all en suite, located together at the end of a long, U-shaped corridor. Another highlight is the plush state-of-the-art screening room, which has cushioned velvet furnishings facing a large theater screen. The unit also boasts four massive terraces that are ideal for outdoor lounging and dining, and the building as a whole offers such amenities as a 75-foot-long pool with cabanas, a full-service restaurant, a library, a screening room, a fitness studio and gym, private wine storage, and 24-7 security and concierge services. The home also comes with four parking spaces. In addition to his Century City penthouse, Perry still owns a beachfront Malibu abode that he bought for $12 million in 2011.
